WoW Forever: repeatable apple quest XP farm fixed for launch
An Alliance quest outside Stormwind that paid experience for every hand-in of 4 apples will not work at launch, a Blizzard developer has confirmed.

During the WoW: Forever beta, players found that an Alliance-only quest just outside Stormwind City could be handed in again and again for experience. The quest, Applejack Still, asked only for 4 Shiny Red Apple, and the apples could simply be bought from a vendor.
A clip shared by players showed a level 21 character earning 170 experience for each hand-in. Some testers used the loop to rush to level 30 on the beta, while many others never knew it existed.
Josh Greenfield, a senior game designer at Blizzard known to players as Aggrend, answered the question on X directly: the farm is not going to be a thing, and it has already been fixed for launch. He credited the fix to a fellow developer.
So anyone planning to buy a stack of apples and level that way on day one will have to quest the intended route. How fast levelling in Forever should be is still a live argument among players; the beta already showed that reaching level 20 takes about as long as in Classic Era.
In Europe WoW: Forever opens at 23:00 London time on 4 November, which is midnight on 5 November in Central Europe.
