WoW Forever: Collector's Edition restock due to ship in February

On 24 September Blizzard updated its article on the WoW Forever Collector's Edition. It is making more English versions of the boxed set available, starting as early as that day, in North America, the United Kingdom, Europe, Australia and New Zealand; exact timing varies by retailer. Blizzard says orders from this restock are expected to be shipped and delivered in February 2027, after WoW Forever launches on 4 November 2026. In Europe the launch is at 23:00 UK time on 4 November, which is midnight on 5 November in Central Europe. The Blizzard Gear Store has a strict limit of 1 copy per household.

The box holds a 13-inch (about 33 cm) statue of a dwarf and a bear, a Zephras Isle mousepad, art prints, collectible pins and a companion journal. It also contains a digital code for the Warcraft Forever Collection, which unlocks the Forever Skyborne Epic Pack, Warcraft III: Reforged and Warcraft III Reforged: Forsaken Kingdom. According to Blizzard, the code gives access to the new Skyborne race and its Zephras Isle starting zone, beta access, 30 days of game time, and cosmetics and other benefits for both WoW: Forever and modern WoW. The box is not needed to play: Blizzard says Forever is included with an active WoW subscription or game time.

Beta access from the set covers 17 September to 21 October, Pacific time, well before the restocked boxes are due. Blizzard says instructions for the beta code are sent by email, but the article does not say when buyers from this restock will receive them. Blizzard also says qualifying purchases come with Invite-A-Friend Launch Codes, which let eligible friends play Forever from 4 to 11 November 2026; these codes are emailed from 20 October. Buyers of the box who want the digital items sooner can buy them separately in the Battle.net Shop. Blizzard says some of those purchases may be credited back as Battle.net Balance when the Collector's Edition code is redeemed by 31 December 2027, but not every product or upgrade path qualifies.

The edition first went on pre-purchase on 12 September. That evening, players on Blizzard's European forums complained that express delivery, at first the only option, cost more than the box itself in some countries. Early on 13 September community manager Kaivax said the store had added a standard shipping rate for customers with a single Collector's Edition in their basket in 27 European countries, among them the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy and Poland; Spain and Portugal were not on that list. By 14 September players were reporting that the English version had sold out in the store, while French and German versions were still listed. Blizzard's update does not say whether the standard rate applies to the restock, and one player wrote on 24 September that shipping looked high again, with express as the only option.
