WoW Forever: shaman tanks talked about, not promised
From an interview at PAX: no supported tank shaman at launch, a collections list that shows only what you already own, and Northrend not ruled out.

Holly Longdale and Clay Stone were interviewed about WoW Forever at PAX in Australia, and the tank shaman came up again. Stone said the team talks about it regularly. It will not be a supported specialisation when the game opens, and he left the door open rather than shutting it, which is roughly where the subject has sat all through the beta.
Collections are in, and they work the other way round from the modern game. You see what you have already got, and the rewards you have not found stay hidden instead of sitting in a list waiting to be ticked off. The stated reason is to keep some mystery in it and to get players telling each other what they have found.
The developers were also asked about the melee sword for mages that turned up in the beta files. They confirmed it exists, warned that some of what is read out of the client is out of date, and said more hidden items are in there. In other words the files are real but not a promise.
On where the game goes after launch, Longdale said nothing rules out Northrend or Pandaria, but that the priority is the story rather than another continent, and that the Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor can change a great deal on their own. Chris Metzen is going back through the old strategy games and the novels for material.
All of it comes from 1 interview at a convention, so none of it is a dated plan.
