WoW Midnight: 4 new 30% experience potions on the 12.1.7 PTR

Four new potions have been found in the files of the latest patch 12.1.7 build on the PTR. All 4 do the same thing: for 2 hours, experience from killing monsters and completing quests goes up by 30%. They bind to your Warband, so a potion earned on one character can be passed to another, and they stack to 99.

Each potion is named after one of the 4 stories of Talebound, the action RPG mode that arrives with patch 12.1.7: Bottle of Darkhaven Wisdom, Bottle of Greenthistle Wisdom, Bottle of Greywake's Wisdom and Bottle of Court of Night Wisdom. The stories are Darkhaven, Greenthistle Wood, Greywake's Expedition and Grove of the Night Court.

How they will be handed out is not known. This comes from a single datamining report, and Blizzard has not announced the potions. The matching names point to rewards for finishing each story in Talebound, and quests that ask you to complete a story have also turned up in the files, so those quests are one likely place. They could also be general Talebound rewards. A Warband binding makes it less likely that they are tied to the mode's roguelite runs alone.

PTR items can still change or be removed before the patch goes live. If they arrive as they are, they would be a steady extra for anyone levelling alts, on top of the 4 Talebound titles already found on the PTR.
