WoW Midnight: D&D bundles unlock a dragon mount and a mimic

Early access for the D&D: World of Warcraft bundles has begun, ahead of the official release on 17 November. Players who preordered a qualifying bundle can now claim its in-game rewards in the modern game, the version that runs Midnight.

There are 4 rewards: the Black Malice mount, a black dragon; the Eyestalker, a beholder companion pet; and the Shifty Chest, a mimic that comes both as a toy and as a housing decor item for your home.

Not every bundle includes them: the rewards come only with the higher tiers, starting from a specific entry bundle. It is not known whether these items will ever be added to the Trading Post, as some earlier promotional rewards were.

The bundles themselves bring Azeroth to the tabletop, with rules for Warcraft classes, playable species, new spells and monsters, as covered in our earlier report on the D&D book.
