WoW Midnight: Hallow's End comes to your neighbourhood
The festival runs from 19 October to 2 November and brings random housing themes, daily quests, a piñata and a Ghoulish Headless Horseman mount.
Hallow's End is running in WoW Midnight from 19 October to 2 November, and this year it moves into player housing. At the start of the event each neighbourhood gets a random theme, Drustvar, Duskwood or Felwood, with its own cosmetics, candies and daily quests from Nomi. It begins with the quest A Haunted Home from a Holiday Enthusiast, who sends you to Yin.
The dailies are a mixed bag. Trick-or-Treating has you clear Discarded Wrappers to fill a bar that raises the Haunted Candies you can loot. Ghost Busting has you catch ghosts and fill the Ghost Tank until it summons a Shade of Seabreaker Skoloth, and the Headless Horseman may turn up and call another. You're a Spider, Man turns you into a spider for 3 minutes to spin up to 10 webs. Every neighbourhood also has a Wickerman Piñata that takes 10 candies to fill, with a 1-minute countdown once you start whacking.
For 15 minutes every hour, the Community Candy Crawl world quest sends people trick-or-treating in Founder's Point and Razorwind Shores; collecting 10 Neighborhood Candy earns experience, 2 Tricky Treats and 3 more candy. Neighbourhood traders swap candy for Tricky Treats at rates that differ by neighbourhood and change daily, and filling the contribution bar unlocks decorations in the Holiday Hub.
The Headless Horseman is back in the Dungeon Finder for characters from level 10 to 90. He has a chance to drop the Headless Horseman's Ghoulish Charger, a Skyriding mount, and gives 1 random piece of the Ghoulish armour set each day without duplicates, 9 pieces in all. The matching Great Blade, Blade and Bulwark cost 100 Tricky Treats each, and Candy Buckets are scattered across Quel'Thalas for the new Tricks and Treats of Midnight achievement.
