WoW: unused old accounts can now be removed without a ticket
Extra WoW accounts on a Battle.net login can now be removed through the support site, including some that once had paid time, a report says.

Players with spare World of Warcraft accounts under one Battle.net login can now remove them on their own. Until now that took a request to customer support.
The option sits on the Blizzard support site, under World of Warcraft, as Remove Starter Edition. Despite the name, the report says it also lists old accounts that once had an expansion or paid game time. Accounts with more recent expansions and a purchase history do not appear in the list.
Spare accounts can get in the way, since they show up in the Battle.net app, at login, in account management, and when you buy something or redeem a code.
Take care with what you pick. Check the creation date and the characters on an account before you remove it. Your PTR account can appear in the list too, although that one can simply be created again.
This rests on one report, backed by player screenshots. The support page exists, but Blizzard has not announced the change.
