WoW Midnight: a Twitch drop for the 12.1.5 launch

4 hours of watching any WoW stream from 13 October earns a housing decoration, and Blizzard's own page gives two different start times.

Blizzard is running a Twitch drop over the launch of Patch 12.1.5. Watch 4 hours of any eligible World of Warcraft stream while the drop is active and you get the Cuddly Gold-Colored Grrgle, a decoration for your house. The window runs from 13 October to 3 November.

The hour is worth reading twice, because Blizzard's own page gives two of them. The opening line says the window runs from 16:00 BST on 13 October until 16:00 GMT on 3 November. The section below it, under how to earn the drop, puts the start at 18:00 BST and the end at 18:00 GMT. The dates agree; only the hour does not.

The conditions are the usual ones. Your Twitch account has to be linked to your Battle.net account, and if the password or either account has changed since you last linked them, you have to link them again, with a wait of 7 days before a new Twitch account can be attached. Progress carries across channels, so half an hour on one and half an hour on another both count, but two streams at once do not count twice. The item can take up to 24 hours to turn up in game.

Where it lands is worth care: the drop goes to the first Battle.net region you log into after claiming, so log into the European region first if that is where you play. Anyone who has claimed one can buy further copies afterwards from Dennia Silvertongue in Silvermoon City, from Tuuran in Stormwind, or from Gabbi in Orgrimmar near the Trading Post.
