WoW Forever: book collection ring opens to every class
Field Researcher's Loop, the melee ring handed out for collecting 20 books, has lost its rogue-only tag on the beta, one report says.

The ring given for collecting books in WoW Forever is no longer limited to rogues. Books are scattered across the world and hand out quests as you gather them; at 20 books you get the quest Greater Friend of the Library, which pays out one of 2 rings. One of those, Field Researcher's Loop, used to carry a rogue-only tag, and on the current beta build it does not — any class can now take it.
This comes from a single report by a site that tracks the beta, and Blizzard has not said anything about it. The change is not in the development notes for the 1 October build either, which is where the rest of that build's changes are listed, so treat it as something testers have seen in game rather than as an announcement.
Collecting 20 books is a long job on a fresh character, and it has been easier to start than to finish: the books sit in zones spread across both continents, and a few of them are in places a low-level character has no business visiting. The level cap going up to 30 in the same build should take some of that edge off, because several of the harder books sit in zones built for the high twenties.
The beta runs until 21 October. Nothing on it is final, and a tag that was removed once can come back before launch on 4 November.
