WoW Forever: a secret boss hides in the Dalaran sewers

Players have found a hidden boss in the sewers of the new City of Dalaran dungeon on the Forever beta. He is called Lyn the Ignored, and the road to him starts a long way from Dalaran.

It begins on Archmage Arugal's table. Kill him in Shadowfang Keep and a book on that table can now be clicked, which drops a Black Tome into your bags. The next step was worked out some time ago: carry it to the town of Ambermill in Silverpine Forest, stand beside the leyline focus in the keep there, and the Black Tome becomes the Tome of Dalaran. After that the trail went cold.

The new dungeon finished it. Clear the first boss, Atrexis the Grave Knight, and keep going through the sewer. Where the way turns right to climb to the surface, carry straight on instead, into a tunnel that ends at a purple rune set in the floor. Use the tome on it and Lyn arrives, after a short entrance that borrows a famous line about being woken too soon.

The tome is not used up, and its cooldown is only 3 minutes, so a group that gets flattened can line up another go almost at once. All of this was found by players on the beta rather than announced, and Horde characters still have to finish the attunement before Dalaran will let them in.
