WoW Forever: Blizzard to fix areas that feel too empty

Players report near-empty capital cities on launch day. Blizzard says some areas do not feel as populated as they should and plans to adjust numbers.

Blizzard has acknowledged that parts of WoW Forever feel emptier than they should, hours after the game's launch. The reply came on the forums on 5 November, in a thread from a player who counted about 8 people in a main city.

Blizzard says it is aware of "some issues with certain areas not feeling as populated as they should". It does not say which areas are affected or what is causing it.

The planned response is short: Blizzard "will be tweaking some numbers tomorrow to help things feel a bit more lively". The post was written late on 4 November US Pacific time, and it does not say which numbers will change.

Blizzard does not describe this as a shortage of players. Its wording is about how full certain areas feel, so a quiet city does not by itself tell you how busy your realm is.
