WoW Forever: 3 escort quests can fail at zone borders

Blizzard is investigating a bug that can end 3 escort quests in WoW Forever before you finish them. In short notes from its support team, the company says the NPCs you escort may disappear when they move near or across zone and area boundaries, and the quest then fails.

The quests are Freedom to Ruul, Free From the Hold and The Defias Brotherhood, and the NPCs named are Ruul, Gilthares Firebough and the Defias Traitor. Escort quests fail at once if the quest giver dies or, in this case, despawns.

An early Undead Paladin quest has a separate problem. In Rediscovering the Light you learn to use Holy Light again, and Blizzard says healing the Injured Deathguards may not grant progress.

Blizzard says only that it is already investigating both issues. It gave no date for a fix and no workaround, and neither problem is on the known issues list it opened on 5 November.
