WoW Forever: Aspect of the Hawk and Trueshot Aura cut

Hunters in WoW Forever look set to start with weaker aura bonuses than they had in the beta. Changes spotted on the live Forever servers while name reservations were open cut Aspect of the Hawk and the raid buff Trueshot Aura.

Each rank of Aspect of the Hawk now gives less attack power: rank 1 goes to 15 from 22, rank 2 to 22 from 35, rank 3 to 30 from 50, rank 4 to 38 from 78 and rank 5 to 47 from 90. At the top rank that is 43 attack power less than before.

Trueshot Aura is cut in the same way: rank 1 drops to 15 from 30, rank 2 to 22 from 40, rank 3 to 30 from 50 and rank 4 to 40 from 75. Because it is a raid buff, the change touches every group a hunter joins, not only the hunter.

One consumable was also reduced. The low-level alchemy recipe Elixir of Wisdom, a vendor recipe that needs Alchemy 90, now adds 3 Intellect instead of 6 and lasts 30 minutes instead of 1 hour.

This comes from a single report of values found on the live servers. Blizzard has not listed these changes in its development notes or explained them, so they may still change before launch, which for Europe is at midnight on 5 November in Central Europe. The latest confirmed class changes are in the racial rework before launch.
