WoW Forever: Kyle's Gone Missing! is back in Mulgore
Blizzard's notes for the 1 October beta build list the Make-A-Wish quest as added, 3 days after it said only that it was working on it.

The quest Kyle's Gone Missing! has been added to Mulgore on the WoW Forever beta. It appears in the development notes Blizzard posted for the build installed on 1 October, in a single line under the tauren starting zone: "The quest 'Kyle's Gone Missing!' has been added." Nothing else in the notes is said about it, and Blizzard did not say whether the old rancher Ahab Wheathoof, who gives the quest, has been added with it.
This answers the question left open 3 days earlier. On 29 September community manager Kaivax told players on both forums that Blizzard was working on it, after beta testers levelling tauren noticed that Ahab and his dog were missing from Mulgore and asked for them in threads on the North American and European forums. Kaivax gave no date then, and the quest was outside Forever's time frame: it arrived in patch 2.1.2 in June 2007, with The Burning Crusade.
The quest was designed by Ezra Chatterton, a boy from California who visited Blizzard through the Make-A-Wish Foundation in 2007 after he was diagnosed with brain cancer, and who recorded Ahab's voice himself. Ezra died on 20 October 2008. Players had asked for the quest to be kept in Forever as a tribute rather than left out on a technicality about which expansion it came from.
The beta runs until 21 October, so there is time for testers to check that the quest works and that its rewards and dialogue are intact. WoW Forever launches at 23:00 UK time on 4 November, which is midnight on 5 November in Central Europe.
