WoW Forever: name reservation opens on 27 October
Europe can claim up to 3 character names from 18:00 CET on 27 October until 3 November, but only with a Skyborne pack or the Forever Collection.

Blizzard has set the date for early name reservation in WoW Forever. In Europe it opens at 18:00 CET on 27 October and runs until 3 November, the day before launch. North America starts the same day at 13:00 Pacific, and Korea and Taiwan get it on the morning of 28 October.
It is not open to everyone. You need to have pre-purchased the Skyborne Heroic Pack, the Skyborne Epic Pack or the limited-time Warcraft Forever Collection, and the benefit only applies to the WoW account the pack was bought for.
The limit is 3 characters in total, counted across every ruleset rather than per realm type. Make 2 PvP characters and you have 1 left for a Normal or Role-Play realm, so it pays to settle which ruleset you are playing on before the window opens. The cap only applies during the reservation period.
Names go first come, first served, and Blizzard says plainly that it cannot guarantee anyone the name they want. To take part, install the WoW Forever version through the Battle.net app, launch it, pick a ruleset and create the characters with the names you want to keep.
