Blizzard says WoW Forever adds over 600 new recipes, and press reports list the new Enchanting ones, including necklace enchants, staves and wands.

Blizzard said on 13 September that WoW Forever adds over 600 new recipes across professions and level ranges, but as of 24 September we found no list of them from Blizzard. A list of the new Enchanting recipes was published on 21 September, while the beta is running. According to the list, the recipes from Season of Discovery and all the enchants from Classic Era realms will be in the game as well, and learning Enchanting works as before: from trainers as your skill rises, from faction vendors as you earn reputation with them, and as quest rewards or loot. Its author warns that some enchants can still change before launch, that the list may not include every new one, and that some may not be visible in the game files yet or may be added in later updates.

Enchanters get a new slot: the necklace. The list has 5 necklace enchants: +5 Agility, +5 Strength, +5 Defense skill, up to +6 spell damage and healing, and up to +11 healing with up to +4 spell damage. An earlier report, published on 15 September and based on the version of WoW Forever that could be played at BlizzCon, shows necklace enchants with the same 5 names. It notes that necklaces cannot be enchanted in any version of WoW Classic so far.

Other slots get new enchants too. The list has 9 for bracers, 2 of them for healing and the rest ranging from +2 Stamina to +9 Agility, Intellect or Defense skill; 3 for gloves: +10 Skinning skill, up to +20 Nature damage, and a small chance of finding Death Lotus when gathering herbs in Hyjal; 1 for the chest, with a 25% chance to absorb 50 damage per hit; and 1 for cloaks, with +5 Agility. There are also 3 weapon enchants, one of which has a chance to double Spirit for 10 seconds, and 5 for two-handed weapons, among them +25 Strength and up to +100 healing.

The list also has items that enchanters make: 3 off-hand items, 4 staves, 5 wands and items for 3 classes, namely 5 idols for druids, 4 totems for shamans and 5 librams for paladins. There are 3 trinkets called Heart of the Mountain, one twice as strong in volcanic areas and another in snowy areas, and an oil. Blizzard says every profession has 3 objects that players can add to a campfire, and that their effects do not stack with buffs that specific classes normally give. The list names 3 such Enchanting items, among them an Enchanted Lute that gives +28 Armor and cannot be combined with Mark of the Wild.

The earlier report found the Enchanting recipes at a vendor, counted 40 new Enchanting items and ties them to the Azeroth Commerce Authority. It says some recipes need materials that do not exist in WoW Classic, such as new dyes, and that each crafting profession gets an item that unlocks a title, which can only be used with 300 skill in that profession. In its 23 September post on the Legacy system, Blizzard names the Azeroth Commerce Authority and Durotar Supply and Logistics as new Alliance and Horde factions and a major source of new tradeskill activities. The lists do not match in every detail: the earlier report shows 1 new wand, for example, while the later list has 5. The beta runs until 21 October, and WoW Forever launches at 23:00 UK time on 4 November, which is midnight on 5 November in Central Europe.
