WoW Forever: Xbox UK pulls post, says game is not on Xbox
Xbox UK listed WoW Forever among November's Xbox games, then deleted the post and said it was a mistake: the game is on PC and Mac only.

The UK Xbox account on X briefly listed WoW Forever among the games coming to Xbox in November. The post told followers to leave some space for these games and showed WoW Forever next to Shrek 2: Remastered. A player saved it and shared it, and the screenshot spread quickly before the post was taken down.
Xbox UK then explained the deletion in a reply on 1 November. It said WoW Forever will be available on PC and Mac through Battle.net and is not available on Xbox, called the post its own mistake, said it had removed and reposted it, and apologised for the confusion.
The slip fed an old rumour. In September a Brazilian age rating entry briefly listed console versions of the game, and Blizzard has said it wants players to be able to play wherever and on whatever they want, with native controller support as the first step.
None of that is a console announcement. Blizzard has named no console platform and no date, and the only statement on record is the one from Xbox UK saying the game is not coming to Xbox. WoW Forever launches on PC and Mac on 4 November.
