WoW Midnight: Coiled Altar cut down on mythic
The fight the raid complained about most is softened: fewer orbs, fewer adds, a smaller radius and 2 extra seconds on the cast that ends attempts.

Blizzard has posted heavy nerfs to Coiled Altar on mythic difficulty, going live with the weekly reset. It is the encounter in the Venomous Abyss with the worst reputation to progress, and it is also the one left untouched last week, when Ula'tek was cut down and the Hall of Fame filled up.
The first phase loses volume. Toxic Deluge now starts with 8 orbs instead of 10, the number of Virulent Mutations drops from 5 to 4, and the radius of both Virulent Mutation and Mutagenic Venom comes down from 8 yards to 6.
Dreadmarch picks 3 targets instead of 4. Manifestations of Dread show their red fixate glow the moment they choose someone rather than a beat later, on every difficulty, and they now despawn when their target dies instead of fixating on somebody else. The angle at which they can be spotted and stunned widens by 10 degrees.
And the cast that ends attempts has been given room to breathe: Eternal Nightfall takes 2 seconds longer, on all difficulties. Taken together it is less to track at once rather than a single number pulled down, which is what the fight was accused of: not being hard so much as being busy.
