WoW Midnight: the Venomous Abyss Hall of Fame is full
200 guilds have killed Ula'tek on mythic, so the title closes at the weekly reset, and the nerfs that got them there point at what comes next.

The Hall of Fame for the Venomous Abyss is full. The achievement goes to the first 200 guilds to put Ula'tek down on mythic difficulty, and Blizzard's own list now carries 200 names, which means the achievement and the Famed Slayer of Ula'tek title shut with the weekly reset. Any guild still working on the fight has this week and no longer.
Getting there took a shove. Heavy nerfs to Ula'tek went live last week, and more than 90 guilds killed him in the days that followed. That is most of the places that were left, filled in one go, after weeks of the hall filling slowly.
The timing raised eyebrows while it was happening. Nerfs on that scale normally arrive with the closing of the Hall of Fame rather than ahead of it, and here they almost certainly brought the closure forward by pulling a crowd of guilds over the line at once.
The question now is about the fight next door. Mythic Coiled Altar was left alone when Ula'tek was cut down to size, and it has the worst reputation in the raid to progress. With the hall closed, the usual reason for holding its numbers steady disappears.
