WoW Midnight: warlock summons fixed in 23 October hotfixes
Blizzard's 23 October hotfixes stop warlock summons attacking enemies outside combat and correct item levels from Ascendant Venomstone upgrades.

Blizzard's hotfixes for 23 October start with warlocks. Some warlock summons and Diabolic Oculi could target enemies outside of combat, and Blizzard says this is now fixed. The fix covers the summons from Affliction's Shadows of Nath'reza and Demonology's Dominion of Argus as well as the Diabolist summons.
That is the behaviour players had linked to extra packs being pulled in Mythic+ when a Diabolist warlock and a Subtlety rogue were in the same group. Blizzard's note does not mention rogues or say what caused the targeting problem, so whether this closes that report fully will only be clear in live runs.
Gear upgraded with Ascendant Venomstones is also corrected: Blizzard says such items had incorrect item levels and that this has been fixed. The note gives no numbers, so it does not say which of the values seen in the game this week are the intended ones. The earlier change is covered in the Venomstone item level report.
Bosses in 2 dungeons behave as intended again. In Den of Nalorakk, Echoing Maul from Nalorakk could sometimes land in the wrong place, and in Murder Row the Fel Spray from Nibbles could hit targets outside its intended area.
The smaller fixes round out the list. Surging Elements for Enhancement shamans now shows on the Cooldown Manager, players in Neighborhoods can leave combat with the Shade of Seabreaker Skoloth during Hallow's End, and shorter character models no longer fall through the floor when they respawn in Jan'alai's Refuge in the Labyrinth.
