WoW Midnight: over 150,000 beat Kindo'jan in week one

More than 150,000 players across Europe and the Americas beat Kindo'jan on Tier 11 in the first week of 12.1.5, with Europe ahead.

WoW MidnightPublished One report so far, not confirmed by Blizzard

Four cloaked adventurers walk out of a ruined jungle labyrinth at night, torchlit mist behind them.

More than 150,000 players defeated Kindo'jan on Tier 11 in the first week of the 12.1.5 content update, counting Europe and the Americas together. Europe accounts for more than 82,000 of those kills and the Americas for more than 70,000. These figures come from a single report, and Blizzard has not published a count of its own.

Every one of those kills earns Fabled Let Me Solo Him: Kindo'jan, the limited-time achievement for beating the boss early in the update. Unlike earlier bosses of this kind, Kindo'jan cannot be fought straight away: he only appears once all 9 chambers of the Labyrinth are cleared, which usually takes 45 to 60 minutes, and a run has no save points along the way.

The long road also makes the fight easier. By the time players reach the boss they have collected stat boosts, Hexmasks and Conduits from the chambers, and many report kills in under 90 seconds, before the fight even reaches its intermission.

The opening week was full of Labyrinth bugs, and Blizzard gave the achievement an extra week because of them, so the total is still climbing. In Europe the achievement can be earned until the weekly maintenance in the week of 27 October.
