WoW Forever: Azuregos and Kazzak crash the beta's last day
Blizzard is closing the WoW Forever beta with 24 hours of chaos in 7 starting zones, and some of what you find there will never reach the live game.

Blizzard has turned the last day of the WoW Forever beta into a farewell party. Until the beta shuts at 19:00 CEST on Friday 23 October, which is 18:00 in the UK and Ireland, 7 zones are hosting what Blizzard calls 24 hours of shenanigans and upheaval: Zephras Isle, Dun Morogh, Elwynn Forest, Teldrassil, Durotar, Tirisfal Glades and Mulgore.
Blizzard president Johanna Faries said that Azuregos and Kazzak are among the guests, and the official event artwork promises more surprises on top. Early finds from players include loot tables that drop only epic items and vendors selling potions of triple experience, though how far those changes reach is not clear yet.
Blizzard is clear that this is a one-off. The celebration almost certainly includes items and experiences that will not be part of WoW Forever after it launches on 4 November, which in Europe means midnight Central European time going into 5 November.
So this is the last chance to play the closed beta at all. It was set to close for good on 23 October once the stress test was over, and Blizzard has still not said what happens to beta characters when the servers go dark.
