WoW Forever: hunters buffed, new Poised passive for energy
Live Forever hotfixes partly undo last week's hunter cuts and double some shots, and Druids and Rogues get a new opener passive.

Two days before launch, hunters in WoW Forever have been handed a round of buffs. The changes were spotted as hotfixes on the live Forever servers, and some of them partly reverse the aura cuts that hit the class last week, covered in our report on the hunter nerf.
The raid buff Trueshot Aura now gives 20, 35, 50, 75 and 100 ranged attack power across its 5 ranks, up from 15, 22, 30, 40 and 50. Aspect of the Hawk rises to 20, 35, 50, 70, 90 and 110 across 6 ranks, up from 15, 22, 30, 38, 47 and 55. Barrage now adds 5, 10 or 15% to Multi-Shot, Aimed Shot and Volley, up from 3, 7 or 10%.
Several shots hit harder too. Sniper Shot roughly doubles to 320, 450 and 590 added damage, from 160, 225 and 295. Aimed Shot now adds 40 ranged damage at rank 1 and 350 at rank 6, from 20 and 166. Arcane Shot goes to 280 damage at rank 8 from 217, and Serpent Sting to 675 at rank 9 from 555.
Druids and Rogues get something new as well. A passive called Poised has been found on the live servers, learned at level 18 by Rogues and level 32 by Druids. It lowers the cost of energy abilities while you are out of combat and at full energy, which helps openers in world PvP and duels and saves energy while levelling.
None of this appears in Blizzard's development notes, and Blizzard has not commented on it, so it rests on a single report of values found on the live servers and may still change before launch. For Europe, WoW Forever opens at midnight on 5 November in Central Europe, after a 5-hour maintenance on launch day.
