WoW Forever: Bill Bailey hosts mockumentary Planet Azeroth
Blizzard has released episode 1 of Planet Azeroth, a comic nature series for the WoW Forever launch, with Bill Bailey on the trail of murlocs and kobolds.
Blizzard released the first episode of Planet Azeroth on 28 October, a comic take on the nature documentary made for the launch of WoW Forever. It is presented by the British comedian and musician Bill Bailey, who sets out in search of what the video calls Azeroth's most remarkable creatures.
Episode 1 runs just under 7 minutes and went up on the official Warcraft channel on YouTube. Blizzard's caption sums it up as murlocs, kobolds and Bill Bailey, just another day in the wilds of Azeroth.
The title marks it as the first episode, but Blizzard has not said how many episodes there will be or when the next one comes out. Planet Azeroth joins a run of launch videos for WoW Forever, after the animated music video WARPATH on 27 October and the short story Unbowed before it.
WoW Forever opens in Europe at 23:00 London time on 4 November, which is midnight on 5 November in Central Europe.
