WoW Forever: 2 Ruins of Lordaeron quests now need a quest chain
2 Horde dungeon quests for Ruins of Lordaeron could be picked up at once on the beta. On live servers each now sits behind a quest chain.

Horde players heading to Ruins of Lordaeron in WoW Forever will find 2 dungeon quests harder to pick up than on the beta. The Wrath of Rath'mael and The New Plague were available right away there, but on live servers each needs a quest chain first. Alliance players have no prerequisites for their quests.
For The Wrath of Rath'mael, start with Rear Guard Patrol from Deathguard Linnea in Tirisfal Glades. It asks for 8 Bleeding Horrors and Wandering Spirits, and the follow-up asks you to defeat the level 13 elite Riptear.
The New Plague takes longer. A 3-part chain called A Recipe For Death spans Tirisfal Glades and Silverpine Forest: 6 items with low drop rates from bears and spiders, turned in at the Undercity, then a book looted in an elite area in the south of Silverpine, which takes 5 seconds to loot, and finally more low drop rate items from level 18 creatures near the lake. The quest then opens at Theodore Griffs in the Undercity.
This comes from 1 report of the live servers, and Blizzard has not announced the change. It matters because dungeon quests are a very good source of experience in this version, and Ruins of Lordaeron is one of the new dungeons Horde players are likely to run second.
