WoW Forever: short story Unbowed follows Forsaken Cormack
Blizzard's new WoW Forever story Unbowed follows Cormack, a Scarlet Crusader raised as one of the Forsaken, and asks if he can still serve the Light.
On 26 October Blizzard published Unbowed, a new short story for WoW Forever. It follows Cormack, who served the Scarlet Crusade in life and was raised as one of the Forsaken after his death.
Cormack struggles to accept his undead existence. The story has him confront his past and the beliefs that once defined him, and it ends on the question at its heart: can a Forsaken still serve the Light?
Blizzard tells the story as a narrated fireside tale in a video, with Jesse Burch as the voice of Cormack. It was written by Sean Copeland and illustrated by Surfside 3D, and it is also available as a downloadable PDF. Players can discuss it in a thread on Blizzard's European forums.
The Scarlet Crusade is a familiar foe for players heading into Scarlet Monastery, but Blizzard's page does not tie the story to any quest or feature in the game. WoW Forever launches at 23:00 UK time on 4 November, which is midnight on 5 November in Central Europe.
