WoW Forever: the soundtrack is out before the game
19 tracks and a little over 43 minutes, from 4 composers, are on the streaming services 3 weeks before the game itself opens.

The official soundtrack of WoW: Forever has been released. It holds 19 tracks and runs a little over 43 minutes, and it is out on the streaming services rather than as a download tied to the game: Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Deezer, Tidal, Qobuz and Bandcamp all carry it.
The credits name 4 composers: Adam Burgess, Brendon Williams, David Arkenstone and Neal Acree. Acree and Arkenstone have written for Warcraft for years, which is the point of putting their names on a soundtrack for a game built on the oldest part of it.
What is unusual is the timing. Music for an expansion normally turns up after the servers do, and here it is out 3 weeks before anyone can hear it in place. The beta runs until 21 October, and WoW Forever opens at 23:00 UK time on 4 November, which is midnight on 5 November in Central Europe.
A dataminer had already pulled the music out of the beta client and put a longer list of pieces on video, so some of this has been heard before. The difference now is that it is published, in order and with the titles the composers gave it.
