WoW Forever: Stitches is dangerous again in Duskwood
The abomination had been walking past players instead of killing them. A Blizzard designer says he is properly aggressive once more.

Stitches is a threat on the roads of Duskwood again. The patrolling abomination had been turning up neutral on the WoW Forever beta since a build last week, walking past anyone he met, and a Blizzard designer called that unintended at the time. On the evening of 5 October the same designer said on his own account that Stitches should be properly aggressive now.
He added a detail worth knowing before anyone reports it as broken again. Stitches is neutral when he first spawns, and only flips hostile once he has reached the road. A player who meets him at the top of his route, before he gets there, will find him harmless — and that is how he is built, not a fault.
He is a level 35 elite undead on a long patrol, and he is one of the few creatures in the old game that players remember by name rather than by role. Walking into him without noticing is part of what Duskwood has always been, which is why a neutral Stitches was reported within a day of appearing.
The fix comes from the designer's own post rather than from patch notes, so there is nothing to read about how it was done or whether anything else moved with it. The beta runs until 21 October, and WoW Forever opens at 23:00 UK time on 4 November, which is midnight on 5 November in Central Europe.
