WoW Forever: free beta codes in Sweden and Denmark
Until 21 October, putting an item up for sale on a Swedish marketplace with the right promotional code returns a beta key within 72 hours.
Players in Sweden and Denmark can pick up a free WoW: Forever beta code until 21 October. The offer runs through Tradera, the Swedish online marketplace for second-hand goods: list an item for sale, enter the promotional code FOREVER on that listing, and a beta code should arrive within 72 hours.
This is marketing rather than a new wave of invitations. Blizzard has been handing beta access out through partners instead of its own channels — first in Australia through a fast food chain, now in the Nordics through a marketplace — and with the launch on 4 November coming up, more of these are likely before the beta ends.
Worth knowing before anyone builds plans around it: the beta itself has only weeks left. It closes before launch, so a code collected now buys a short look rather than a long test, and characters made on it do not carry across.
What the code opens is a beta that has grown a good deal since the summer. The level cap stands at 30, the City of Dalaran dungeon is in and being picked apart, and all 16 Legacy Points are unlocked for testing.
