WoW Forever: Twitch offers Alliance and Horde chat badges
A subscription to a creator live in the World of Warcraft category earns faction crest badges for Twitch chat, in a promotion running until 1 December.
Twitch Gaming has started a small promotion for the launch of WoW Forever, according to one report. Viewers who give at least 1 gift or recurring subscription to a creator streaming live in the World of Warcraft category can earn badges showing the Alliance and Horde crests.
The badges appear to the left of your name in chat on Twitch channels. They are a Twitch reward and are not described as giving anything in the game.
The report puts the promotion from 17:00 Central European Time on 4 November until 09:00 on 1 December. It started 7 hours before the servers open in Europe, and it leaves almost 4 weeks to qualify.
This rests on that one report. Blizzard has not confirmed the promotion, and no announcement from Twitch could be found, so check the terms on Twitch before you pay for a subscription.
