Blizzard published the full content update notes for Midnight's 12.1.5 on 1 October. The update arrives on 14 October in Europe, and the notes keep the headline pieces Blizzard had already announced: the single-boss raid The Unbinding of Kith'ix, the Labyrinth of Kindo'jan, the story campaign The Promise of Tomorrow, the mid-season refresh for Season 2 and the new Aqir Invasions in Eversong or Zul'Aman. What follows is what the notes add that the announcement did not have.

On the raid, the notes list one difficulty more than the announcement did: Kith'ix can be taken on Story Mode, Raid Finder, Normal, Heroic and Mythic, and on Mythic the group is flexible, from 15 to 25 players. The new Mythic+ achievement, Midnight Keystone Myth: Season 2, now comes with its rewards attached — the title “the Venomous Contender” and the Timelost Saddle. The notes also name all 8 affixes a combat scenario in an Aqir Invasion can carry. Besides the ones Blizzard had already described, Astalor's Anguish sends in Anguish Crystals that damage the aqir and any player caught in the blast, Aqir Elites replaces the enemies with fewer but stronger aqir, Void Infestation makes some aqir explode a few seconds into combat and infect others, and Web Weavers can spawn an Aqir Webweaver that covers a player in webs unless its channel is interrupted.

Two of the biggest items are not tied to the new content at all. Legion and Battle for Azeroth reputations are now shared across the warband. And Prey gets catch-up: a player below rank 4 now receives 4000 Journey progress, a full rank, from every hunt, which takes precedence over the progress normally earned from the first 4 hunts of the week, while players between ranks 4 and 9 receive 2000 Journey progress from each of their first 4 hunts a week. Blizzard says it wants new players, returning players and anyone who has not put much time into Prey this season to be able to catch up. Afflicted and Tormented Souls can no longer be used while a hunt is active and have to be used between hunts.

The class section is longer than the weekly test realm notes had shown. Devourer demon hunters get the most work: Collapsing Star no longer goes on cooldown for 5 seconds when its cast is cancelled and gains extra range once the cast has started, but it will now slow Fury drain only for about the length of 1.5 full casts, and several talents move, with The Hunt and Eradicate shifted into the more accessible middle gate of the tree. Marksmanship hunters lose Unload and gain a new talent, Blood Fletching, which makes Aimed Shot critical strikes apply the Master Marksman bleed at 20% of the damage dealt and adds bleed damage for 4 seconds afterwards. For Restoration druids, Nature's Bounty is redesigned: Regrowth now also heals up to 3 allies who have Rejuvenation on them for 15% of its healing, the lowest health first. Protection warriors get 30% more Execute damage on top of the cheaper Execute and Revenge already on the test realm. And Outlaw rogues no longer pay a flat 30 Energy extra for Blade Flurry through Deft Maneuvers: it costs 5 Energy per target hit, up to 30.

The interface gets player coordinates below the minimap, with an option to switch them off and a choice between whole numbers and decimals, an option to draw an animated dashed border around raid frames when something on that unit can be dispelled, and a new audio setting, Pulse Your Health, which loops a sound once health drops below a percentage the player picks and makes it more aggressive as health falls further. Housing gets keybinds for moving up and down floors in floorplan edit mode, Page Up and Page Down by default, a shortcut from the blueprint button in the Housing Controls to the blueprint collection, and public neighbourhoods will no longer be handed the same Endeavor twice in a row. The mid-season schedule itself, the extra weekly bonus roll and the Ascendant Venomstones, is unchanged. Everything else, down to each bug fix, is in Blizzard's full notes.
