WoW Midnight: 12.1.5 notes gain a rogue buff
Subtlety gets 14% more ability damage to make up for a modifier that was counting twice, and delves and housing each get a line.
Blizzard has added to the 12.1.5 patch notes on the day the update ships. The largest line belongs to rogues: every Subtlety ability does 14% more damage.
The reason given is tidying rather than a buff for its own sake. The team has changed how Subtlety's shadow damage modifiers work, and says those modifiers were in places applying their effect more than once. The 14% is there to put the specialisation back where it should sit once that double counting is gone.
Two shorter lines sit under it. Recipe drop rates in delves go up, and the cost of every crafted decoration from the professions that existed before Midnight comes down, which follows the cheaper decor recipes found on the test realm.
The update lands on 13 October in the Americas and on 14 October in Europe, alongside the dungeon tuning published yesterday.
