WoW Midnight: 19 new decor recipes and far less lumber
Every crafting profession gets something to make for a house in 12.1.5, and one recipe drops from 8 Black Lotus to 1.

Patch 12.1.5 adds 19 new decor recipes to Midnight, spread across all 9 crafting professions, and it cuts what the existing ones cost. Most crafted decor now wants noticeably less lumber than it does today, and the clearest case is the Apothecary's Worktable: its recipe asked for 8 Black Lotus and now asks for 1, which turns it from a trophy into something a player might actually build.
Tailoring gets the most new recipes with 5, among them a round cushion, a bolt of decorative cloth and 3 plush toys. Inscription follows with 4 — a glowing scroll, a floating library, a rolled scroll and an artisan's workbench. Blacksmithing gets 3, all of them places to work metal, and engineering 2, including a campfire grill. Alchemy, enchanting and jewelcrafting get 1 each, and leatherworking gets 2 more plush toys.
Where the recipes come from is the part that will send people travelling. They are sold by characters scattered across the older parts of the game — Oribos, Dalaran, Boralus, Dazar'alor, Nazjatar, the Dragon Isles and the garrisons — and some want a local currency or a reputation standing before they will sell. So the new decor is less a reward for a profession than a reason to go back through several expansions with that profession learned.
All of this is read from the public test realm, where it can still change, and Blizzard has not covered the decor recipes in its published notes. The patch arrives on 13 October in the Americas and 14 October in Europe, and the notes Blizzard has published cover the raid, the Labyrinth and the campaign rather than this.
