WoW Midnight: 5 November hotfixes rename the Lost Explorers

Two Tortollan bosses in The Venomous Abyss have new names, The Coiled Altar deals less damage on Mythic, and a Shadowguard Point delve bug is gone.

Three turtle-folk explorers with heavy packs stand close together on a wet riverbank in morning fog.

Blizzard posted its hotfixes for 5 November in the early hours of 6 November European time. The list covers 3 areas: creature names, 1 delve and The Venomous Abyss. Blizzard says some hotfixes apply at once, while others may need a scheduled realm restart.

The shortest line is the most curious. Blizzard only says it updated the names of several Tortollan NPCs, and the list names none of them. In the game the change reaches the Lost Explorers encounter in The Venomous Abyss: Iku is now Epu, Nama is now Nema, and Gebbo keeps the old name. Blizzard gives no reason for the change.

The raid changes are the same pass Blizzard announced for 5 encounters over the next few days, and the list adds smaller numbers for The Coiled Altar. On Mythic, Gloombomb deals 20% less damage, Venom Rupture 15% less and Axegrinder 20% less, and Gravebound Soul Fragments last 2 seconds longer before fading. Malevolent Resonance deals 60% less damage. Vashnik and Ula'tek are still missing from the list.

The delve fix is for Shadowguard Point. In the Basilisk Blitz variant, leaving while travelling between waygates could change your appearance and make you hostile to otherwise friendly units. Blizzard says that no longer happens. The list has no class changes and no changes to rewards.
