WoW Midnight: a Myth piece from the new megadelve
Quests inside the Labyrinth of Kindo'jan pay fragments, and 3 of them make one Myth item in whichever slot the player picks.

The Labyrinth of Kindo'jan arrives with patch 12.1.5, on 13 October in the Americas and 14 October in Europe, and the test realm shows a way out of it that nobody expected. Once Labyrinths are unlocked and the introduction quest is done, an NPC called Wah'du stands at the entrance with work: go to one of the chambers inside and finish what it asks on Tier 8 or above.
Each of those quests pays a Mythical Soul Fragment and 2000 Undercoin. On the test realm Wah'du follows the first one with another of the same shape for a different chamber, and the writer of the only report on this expects that on live realms a player will get 1 of them a week; Blizzard has not said so, and nothing in the notes sets a limit.
Collect 3 fragments and they combine into a piece of Myth track gear at the first of its 6 upgrade steps — and the player chooses the slot it comes in. That last part is what makes it unusual. Myth track gear otherwise drops from the hardest difficulty of the raid and from the highest keystone dungeons, in whatever slot the game feels like giving, so a guaranteed piece in a chosen slot is a different kind of reward from anything a solo player has had this season.
All of this is read from the public test realm, where things change week to week, and Blizzard has not written about it in the patch notes. The published notes for 12.1.5 describe the Labyrinth as a long gauntlet of 9 chambers with its own progression and rewards, but they do not mention these quests, the fragments or the choice of slot.
