WoW Midnight: Mythic Twin Fangs nerf cuts Visceral Burst by 40%
A live hotfix softens the penalty for a missed interrupt in The Venomous Abyss, so 1 missed Visceral Burst can now be healed through.

A hotfix pushed to live servers late on 5 November has nerfed Twin Fangs on Mythic difficulty in The Venomous Abyss, a couple of days after the weekly reset. It targets one mechanic: the penalty for missing an interrupt on the Broodlings of Ithraz.
Visceral Burst now deals 40% less damage, both on the first hit and over time. It deals 375k damage up front and a further 125k every second for 6 seconds.
Until now a missed interrupt almost always killed the group, although better gear and the scaling raid buff had already made it possible to heal through 1 stack. After the cut a single miss is healable. The add keeps casting until it is interrupted, so after a miss you still have to stop the second cast.
Blizzard has since confirmed the cut: it is in the hotfix list dated 5 November, as part of a wide round of nerfs to the raid. The raid's last boss saw a similar 40% cut to Stone Venom in September.
