WoW Midnight: Talebound may award Mythic raid loot
2 new Mythic achievements in Talebound on the 12.1.7 PTR each give a cache of Mythic Venomous Abyss loot. The rewards were found in the files, not announced.

Two new achievements for Talebound have turned up in the latest patch 12.1.7 build on the PTR, and both appear to be the mode's end-game goals: Confronting a Mythic Tale and Mythic: The Comprehensive Final Confrontation. Each has to be completed on Mythic difficulty, and each rewards a Cache of Mythic Treasures with a piece of loot from the Mythic Venomous Abyss raid.
That would make Mythic raid gear available without setting foot in the Mythic raid. The last time WoW had Mythic raid caches outside the raid itself was in Warlords of Draenor, when the garrison mission table could award one once a player had defeated 15 Heroic bosses. It is not yet clear whether the cache can also hold the most sought-after items from the Coiled Altar and Ula'tek fights. Outside the raid, Labyrinths already hand out Myth track gear through weekly quests.
This comes from a single datamining report, and Blizzard has not announced the rewards. The achievements and their rewards could change or disappear before the patch goes live. Talebound is a stand-alone roguelite mode played as 1 of 3 classes, the Slayer, the Inquisitor or the Witch, and clearing Mythic will probably mean upgrading several of its systems first.
Players can see how hard that is for themselves soon: the Talebound demo opens on the PTR on 30 October and runs until 2 November.
